Meditreanean Association for Philosophy with Children

Prof. Arie Kizel and Soufiane Margoube are the cofounders and presidents of MAPwC. The association will provide a framework for those who research and practice philosophy for/with children in the Mediterranean countries and the surrounding area.
The association will be open to academic researchers, independent researchers, and practitioners who are engaged in this field, and its goal is to build a community around the following P4wC-related topics:

1. Holding conferences for knowledge sharing.
2. Frameworks of professional development and training.
3. Encouraging joint research.
4. Encouraging philosophical dialogue initiatives between children and teenagers
from the Mediterranean inside and outside schools.
5. Cultivating pedagogical materials, translation of the existing literature regarding
philosophy for/with children into the spoken languages of the Mediterranean partners.
